CFDLab@Energy - Computational Fluid Dynamics Laboratory - STAFF - GAEL GUEDON

Gaël Guédon is a PhD student in Energetic at Politecnico di Milano. He graduated as Mechanical Engineer at ENSIAME french engineering school (Valenciennes) in 2009.
He started doing research using CFD in September 2007 at the DLR Institute of Space Propulsion (Lampoldshausen, Germany) for a 5 months intership. He has then moved in Milan in September 2008 for an Erasmus semester and finally joined the CFDLab in March 2009 where he focused on the numerical simulation of vertical axis marine turbines for his graduating internship.
Since October 2009 he is working on the numerical simulation of multiphase flow in complex engineering systems using ad-hoc one-dimensional models and commercial and open source CFD codes.
Gaël won a Progetto Rocca Fellowship which offered him the opportunity to spend 5 months at MIT from June to October 2011. He is currently focusing on the numerical simulation of two-phase heat and mass transfer.
